Government is implementing blueprint to destroy garment industry: Rizvi

BNP’s senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that the government is very cleverly implementing a blue plan to destroy the garment industry. He said that Sheikh Hasina's relatives and party people have already smuggled so much money abroad that their fourteen generations can sit and eat.

Rizvi also alleged that to suppress the just demands of the workers, the killings were crushed, and this biggest industry was taken to the brink of destruction in the interest of neighboring countries. He said, that after the United States announced a new labor policy to protect labor rights, the owners fear that the ban on Bangladesh's garment industry is almost certain.

This leader of BNP said that yesterday the issue of fear in the garment sector was made clear by the words of BJMEA president Farooq Hasan. He said, “Foreigners will not buy the product if the ban comes. Already, the orders of the product have added such conditions while opening the letter of credit. Even if the ban comes after the shipment of the goods, they will not take the goods.” Already this sector has lost 40 to 45 percent of business. Amidst the uncertainty of the RMG owners, the peculiar Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen showed arrogance and said that the export of clothes will not stop if the US government says so. Banning will do nothing.

Rizvi claims that people believe Sheikh Hasina wants to hand the ready-made garment business into the hands of other countries in order to get the guarantee of clinging to the illegal power.

Commenting that one-sided elections will intensify the country's political crisis, Rizvi said, it will push the country towards disaster. This rigged election should not only be boycotted but also through mass resistance the government should be usurped from power and ensure a fair and participatory election.

BNP senior joint secretary general commented that the prank is going on in the name of elections, saying that after hearing about free, fair, and participatory elections, the angry prime minister is running around the election field with a sword in her hand "like a fox king in the ginger forest". She is all, she must be in power.

He also said that she considers those who talk about fair and credible elections as personal enemies. And that is why they have adopted various methods to suppress the movement of the opposition party demanding free and fair elections, which are cruel and demonic.

Rizvi said, remand after the arrest of the leaders and workers, will also defeat the story of the atrocities of the German 'concentration camp'. It is heard that pro-democracy politicians who have been jailed for switching parties are being brutally bullied for their consent. Attempts are being made to obtain false testimony from young leaders and activists by torturing them on remand.
