Munich, Feb 17 (UNB)- Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Saturday called on Prime Minister Sheikh on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference now underway in this German city.

The meeting was held at Hotel Bayerischer Hof, conference venue, this morning.

During the meeting, they discussed the issues of mutual and global interests, according to sources close to the meeting.

"Honored to call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh. Congratulated her on the renewed mandate," Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said in a message shared from X, formerly known as Twitter.

He appreciated her guidance for taking Bangladesh-India Maitri forward.
