Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, noted that BUET student Abrar was killed by the Chhatra League for posting a status in favor of the country. The entire nation protested his murder. The incident led to the suspension of student politics at BUET due to the terror activities of the Chhatra League. Students have been protesting to stop this kind of politics. However, the court's recent verdict seems to support the killers of Abrar, which Rizvi finds encouraging for them. He expressed concerns that now even basic daily decisions might be dictated by the court.

According to Rizvi, Sheikh Hasina's statements are treated as law in the country. He believes that if she wants someone to be sentenced to 15 years, the court would comply. He suggested that if there were justice, Sheikh Hasina would be in jail, not Begum Khaleda Zia.

He shared these views at an Iftar event organized for rickshaw workers at Naya Paltan on Monday.

Rizvi also commented on the current government's tenure, saying the poor are the most oppressed. He pointed to media reports revealing the illicit wealth of a police officer who was involved in the killing and disappearance of BNP leaders, which the government allowed. He criticized the government for the uncontrolled market prices, mentioning that potato prices have reached 80 BDT.

The Iftar for rickshaw workers was held by the labor wing of BNP, following instructions from the acting chairman of BNP Tarique Rahman. Rizvi was the chief guest, with special guests including Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, Dr. Rafiqul Islam, and other leaders from BNP and its associated organizations.
