Forbes magazine has released its 2024 list of billionaires, featuring Mohammad Aziz Khan, Chairman of Summit Group, as the sole representative from Bangladesh.

Khan's net worth stands at $1.1 billion, equivalent to 12,100 crore Bangladeshi Taka.

Summit Group has ventures in energy, ports, fiber optics, and real estate. Aziz Khan, who resides in Singapore, is also listed among the top 50 wealthiest there.

The Forbes list encompasses 2,781 individuals from 78 countries, with net worths ranging from $1 billion to $233 billion.

French tycoon Bernard Arnault tops the list, while the United States boasts the most billionaires with 813 entries. The list includes notable figures such as Elon Musk, with a net worth of $195 billion. China, including Hong Kong, has 473 billionaires, India has 200, and the Asia-Pacific region in total hosts 1,000 billionaires.
