Dhaka, May 21 (UNB)- President Mohammad Shahabuddin has advised the university authorities to increase research activities to improve the quality of higher education.
 
He said while a delegation of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) on Monday called on the president at Bangabhaban.
 
President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin briefed the reporters after the meeting.
 
Chairman of the IIUC Trustee Board Professor Dr Abu Reza Mohammad Nezamuddin Nadwi led the delegation. It also apprised the president of the overall activities of the university during the meeting.
 
He asked the authorities concerned to ensure quality education along with other educational programmes.
 
Alongside, the Chancellor of the University directed the university authorities to make all-out efforts to make students qualified at the national and international levels.
 
Secretaries concerned to the President Office were also present during the meeting.
