Kushtia,
MAY 30 (UNB)-Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a 2.5 kg
consignment of cocaine from the Khulna-bound Kapotaksha Express train today.
Acting on a tip-off, a
special patrol team from the Kushtia Battalion (BGB 47) positioned themselves
at Mirpur Railway Station in Kushtia.
When the train stopped
at Mirpur Railway Station, the BGB patrol team conducted a search operation and
recovered 2.5 kg of cocaine, Lt Col Mohammad Mahbub Morshed of Kushtia
Battalion (BGB 47) said.
A general diary entry
regarding the seizure is currently being processed at Mirpur Police Station.
