Revolutionary Workers Party Politburo member Comrade Abu Hasan Tipu said that the process of forming a new political party with students under the patronage of the government could certainly make the interim government controversial in the future.
Therefore, respecting the aspirations of the student-worker-public uprising, the interim government should create an example by quickly completing all the necessary reforms for a free and fair democratic election within a short period of time, he said.
“Otherwise, they too may have to stand in the people's court,” he asserted.
Abu Hasan Tipu said these things in a rally organized by Narayanganj District Democracy Forum this afternoon in front of Chashara Press Club under the chairmanship of Narayanganj District President of Revolutionary Workers Party, Mahmud Hossain.
Another Politburo member Anjan Das said that the slow pace of the interim government has already become a topic of discussion among the people.
The followers of the fallen government are now creating various anarchic situations including killings across the country.
Anjan called on the government and the people to be vigilant in this regard.
