Dhaka, Sept 30 (UNB)--Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed said that there is no alternative to the rule of law to ensure justice at all levels of society and establishing an exploitation-free society.

He said these things at the reception held at Barishal Courthouse on Monday night under the initiative of District Lawyers Association.

During his visit, Chief Justice Ahmed acknowledged the commitment of Barishal lawyers, noting, "I have observed that court proceedings are well-established here. Justice seekers rely on lawyers for assistance, and I believe Barishal lawyers are fulfilling their duties with dedication."

He emphasized the importance of continuous education for lawyers, urging them to stay updated on legal developments.

"Success will come if you work with knowledge and integrity," he said.

The Chief Justice also highlighted the lawyers' responsibility to assist the court honestly in upholding justice and protecting the judiciary's honor.
