Dhaka, Apr 3 (UNB) - A fire broke that out at Salam Jute Mills in Khulna’s Rupsha upazila was brought under control on Wednesday.

Eleven firefighting units brought the fire under control at 9:05 pm on Wednesday, confirmed Shahjahan Sikder, DAD of the FSCD headquarters media cell.

Earlier, the fire broke out around 5:30 pm at the mill situated in the upazila’s Jabusa area, said Md Abdul Quadir of the Khulna Fire Service control room.

No casualties have been reported so far, he said.
