Mamata Banerjee stumbled inside the helicopter

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has once again been involved in an accident while on an election campaign. On Saturday, April 27th, she was injured after stumbling in a helicopter during her trip to Asansol for a Lok Sabha election campaign. However, it is reported that the injury was minor.

It is known that the Chief Minister was scheduled to hold two public meetings in Asansol today in support of Trinamool candidate Shatrughan Sinha. She was traveling to the campaign event by helicopter from Durgapur around 1 PM. However, she stumbled and fell while getting into her seat on the helicopter.

Video footage by the news agency ANI shows Mamata Banerjee descending from her car and climbing the stairs to the helicopter. As soon as she stepped inside, she stumbled and fell, but was quickly helped up by her security guard. Despite the fall, the helicopter took off on time and landed as scheduled in Kulti, where she ascended the stage and even danced with the local tribal women.

Notably, Mamata Banerjee has been injured several times over the past few months. On January 24th, while returning from a meeting in Burdwan, her driver applied the brakes suddenly near the venue, causing her to hit her forehead. Then, on March 14th, she fell at home and sustained a split forehead, requiring stitches on her forehead and nose. Today, she has once again suffered an accident, raising concerns among her workers and supporters.
